I can only imagine what this world would be like if strangers provided such assistance to another human... although I suppose humans can be a bit more threatening than a cute, little robot.
The music really helps the video and the little robot on his trek. I was sort of hoping someone would pick up the robot and walk off with him. That would be very New York City-like.

I'd help a robot. God knows how many times they have helped me in the past.
We should help as many robots as we can. Before they uprise and take over the earth.
